The Bench!

A very sweet man named Mr. Percy N. gave me (Bobbi) a big surprise this weekend. I went down to see Charlie one evening at the turkey shoot. Charles and I attended a dinner and silent auction. One item being auctioned was a child's park bench that I thought would be a nice addition to my classroom. The iron back featured a mother turkey and her chicks. Anyhow, I placed a bid keeping my personal school spending limit in mind. Of course, I was outbid not too long into the evening.

Saturday morning, Mr. Percy N. found me and delivered the bench! He outbid the high bidder at the last moment and bought the bench for my classroom. This generous gift totally surprised me and was unexpected. Thank you, sir, for the special surprise. My students will enjoy the bench for years to come!
